Our mandate is to provide support for Singapore Telugu people.  We identify and address community issues. We work towards the betterment of the community by promoting social responsibility and mutual help. Singapore Telugu Samajam to promote Telugu literature and cultural heritage of the Telugu-speaking people.

ఒక వ్యక్తి జీవితం లో సాధించ లేనిది వ్యక్తుల వ్యవస్థగా ఎంతో సాధించవచ్చు! 
ఎక్కడ ఉన్నా , ఏం చేస్తున్నా మనం అంతా తెలుగు తల్లి బిడ్దలం. తెలుగు జాతి ఔన్నత్యాన్ని తెలియ జెయడానికి, తెలుగు వారికి సాటి తెలుగు వారు సహకరించుకోవడానికి, మన సంస్కృతి సంప్రదాయాల పరిరక్షణ కోసం, తెలుగు వారి శ్రేయస్సు కోసం, సింగపూర్ లో ఉన్న తెలుగు ప్రజలలో స్నేహ, సధ్బావ సామరస్యాలు పెంపొన్దించుకోవడానికి, మన కోసం మనం ఏర్పరచుకొన్న వేదిక ఈ సింగపూర్ తెలుగు సమాజం. సమాజం కార్యక్రమాలు మరింత విస్తృత పరుద్దాం, సమాజం కోసం కలిసి పని చేద్దాం.

Working for Synergy

Identifying problems is not enough. STS is committed to investing its resources, including its intellectual and human capital, toward betterment of the Telugu community in Singapore. 
We are dedicated to working in a collaborative fashion with individuals and organizations to help telugu people.We adhere to Telugu Oneness and bring the sense of community help in each telugu individual living in Singapore.

THE SINGAPORE TELUGU SAMAJAM

Singapore Telugu Samajam (STS) was founded in 1975, with the sole purpose of bringing together all the Telugu Community in Singapore.The Samajam is registered under Societies act in Singapore.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE STS ARE:

• To preserve and propagate the Telugu cultural heritage and maintain the identity of people of Telugu origin.
• To provide a common platform for Telugu literary, cultural, educational, social, recreational and charitable interactions among all Telugu people in Singapore.
• To position the Telugu community on par with the other communities in heterogeneous Singapore society.
• To provide a forum for elder and younger generations to share their views and ideas.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

STS is dedicated to Singapore Telugu Community. We call this commitment in action. Our work isn't based upon an ideology, but we do have guiding principles: 

• We affirm both the rational and the intuitive in all our work. We respect the efforts of individuals in helping the community and create sustainable solutions.
• We Carry on all Samajam activities as a non-profit Organisation, organized for literary, cultural, and educational purposes.
• We treat each and every Telugu individual alike in the Samajam. This principle is inherent in STS's concept of samasamajam.
• We are formed to perpetuate, preserver, and promote the cultural heritage of the Telugu-speaking people in Singapore.
• We are flexible in responding to the changing needs for the community with transparency in all our deeds.

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE AND ELECTIONS

Management committee is the governing body to oversee alll Singapore Telugu Samajam activities. The committee consists of Ordinary, Associate and Honorary Members. For the complete details of present executive committee click here
