President's Message
Greetings to Telugu people living in Singapore,
It is a proud moment for me to bring to your notice that a new management committee for the tenure 2013 – 2015 was endorsed in 37th Annual General Meeting on 8th September 2013.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to 37th AGM for their support and cooperation.
It was the efforts of our founding members of Samajam, previous Presidents and their respective committee member’s contribution brought glory and reputation to our Telugu Samajam. I would like to continue all the good work what they have done in yesteryears, which will bring additional reputation to our Telugu Samajam.
We will give our best efforts for encouraging parents to send their children to our Telugu speaking class Called Telugu badi. We are in the process of finalising a curriculum for the Telugu classes. We will be taking this initiative as one of our top most priority which will help children to love our mother tongue and help them to speak / write Telugu language. We seek parent’s support / cooperation in this initiative.
STS is committed to bring some benefits to our proud members by offering some discounts for our own STS entertainment events.
For cultural harmony and broadcasting our Telugu culture and traditions, we will be working with various Organizations in Singapore to present Telugu Culture and tradition on a common Diaspora.
We seek our female members of Telugu Samajam to step forward and actively participate in our Events, which will bring more nativities of our culture and tradition.
We seek your kind support, cooperation and feedback to improve the quality of our events and programs. You are welcome in providing your inputs to make our Telugu Samajam more vibrant.
Let’s our one idea will be “Bring Glory to Singapore Telugu Samajam“ and We inspired from the words of our beloved Sri Swami Vivekananda.
"Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success."
Warm Regards,
Durga Prasad Kesani
